Hey, this is Dr. Biggerstaff. I’ve been meaning to post to our brand new blog but have not gotten the time to do so as of yet. I figured this was as good a time as any to post as I have just completed my first weekend of a 9-month implant continuum at the Triangle Dental Institute in Durham, NC. A continuum is basically a series of didactic and hands-on continuing education seminars focused on a particular area of dentistry. This continuum is focused on the placement and restoration of dental implants as well as bone and soft tissue grafting. I have always loved the surgical aspect of dentistry, and John and I talked about one or both of us participating in this course so we could offer our patients a broader range of dental services. So, I am making the jump and I couldn’t be more excited about it! I will be posting periodically as I make my way through the course. Stay tuned!
