Michelle has lived in Wilmington since she was born, and she’s a proud graduate of New Hanover High School. She joined the BlueWave Dentistry team in March 2006, but she has over 20 years of experience in the dentistry field. She’s been an active member of the Pine Valley Church of God for most of her life, and she lives in Wilmington with her two awesome children.
Thelma received her certification in Dental Assisting from Cape Fear Community College. She is currently continuing her education at University of North Carolina-Wilmington and hopes to attend dental school next year in Chapel Hill. Thelma joined the team in May 2006, and she’s been in dentistry for eight years. She is fluent in Spanish. When she’s not working with patients at BlueWave, she loves spending time with her husband, training for triathlons, surfing, and learning Polish.
Megan was born and raised in Greensboro, NC. She came to Wilmington to attend UNCW, and then went on to study dental hygiene at Coastal Carolina Community College. She’s been with the BlueWave team since October 2006. She has enjoyed eleven years of experience as a registered dental hygienist. She loves the beach and spending time with her husband and two sons.
Brittany was born in High Point, NC. She moved to Wilmington to attend UNCW, where she received a degree in Biology. She attended CFCC for dental assisting and hygiene. Brittany is married with 1 daughter and a dog. she has been a part of the BlueWave team since June 2007.
Joan was born and raised in Roanoke, VA, but she’s lived in Wilmington for almost 20 years. She’s been in dentistry for eleven years, and she joined the BlueWave team in March 2009. Joan has two children, and when she isn’t working with patients or spending time with her family, she loves sports and the beach.
Carey was born and raised in Oak Ridge, NC. She moved to Wilmington in 2003 where she attended UNCW earning degrees in both Business and Spanish. She joined the BlueWave Team in September 2010. She is married to her husband, Jason and they love spending time with family and friends. Carey loves to travel and go to the beach.
Nancy was born in Raleigh, NC, but moved to the Wilmington area in 2002. She joined the BlueWave team in March 2011. She has been in the dental field for many years. She is married to her husband, Chuck and they both have a passion for animals especially their toy poodle, Logan. She enjoys walking, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.
Ashleigh was born and raised in Durham, NC. She came to Wilmington to attend UNCW. She joined the BlueWave team in April 2011. She is now currently pursuing dental hygiene at Cape Fear Community College. She likes reading, spending time with friends, family, and her dog, Bella.
