Michelle Long
Michelle Long has lived in Wilmington since she was born, and she’s a proud graduate of New Hanover High School. She joined the BlueWave Dentistry team in March 2006, but she has over 20 years of experience in the dentistry field. She’s been an active member of the Pine Valley Church of God for most of her life, and she lives in Wilmington with her two awesome children.

Thelma DeSantis
Thelma DeSantis received her certification in Dental Assisting from Cape Fear Community College. She is currently continuing her education at University of North Carolina-Wilmington and hopes to attend dental school next year in Chapel Hill. Thelma joined the team in May 2006, and she’s been in dentistry for six years. She is fluent in Spanish. When she’s not working with patients at BlueWave, she spends her time training for triathlons, surfing, and learning golf.

Megan Johnson Morgan
Megan Johnson Morgan was born and raised in Greensboro, NC. She came to Wilmington to attend UNCW, and then went on to study dental hygiene at Coastal Carolina Community College. She’s been with the BlueWave team since October 2006, but she has nine years of experience as a registered dental hygienist. She attends Port City Church and enjoys the beach and spending time with her husband and two sons.

Brittany Minor
Born and raised in High Point, NC, Brittany Minor came to Wilmington to attend UNCW, where she received a degree in biology. She also attended Cape Fear Community College, where she was certified in dental assisting and hygiene. She and her husband Ben have a baby girl named Ella who was born April 11th and have a dog named Lola. She’s been a part of the BlueWave team since June 2007.

Rhonda Payne
Rhonda Payne grew up in Sandston, VA. Her first job was dental assisting. She and her husband Jerry have been married for over 35 years, and their family includes their daughter, Beth; son-in-law Matt; and their two dogs, Pippi Louise and Daisy Mae. She enjoys dentistry, crafts and decorating. She joined the BlueWave team in March 2009.

Joan Blue
Joan Blue was born and raised in Roanoke, VA, but she’s lived in Wilmington for almost 20 years. She’s been in dentistry for nine years, and she joined the BlueWave team in March 2009. Joan is married with two kids, and when she isn’t working with patients or spending time with her family, she loves sports and the beach.

Bekah Tartt
Bekah joined BlueWave Dentistry in August of 2009. She has been a registered hygienist working in periodontal, general, and cosmetic dentistry since graduating from Coastal Carolina Community College, in Jacksonville, NC five years ago. Both Bekah and her husband, Adam, are natives of Wilmington, NC, and they’re active in the community and their church, where they teach preschoolers. Their one-year-old daughter, Addison, is their pride and joy. Bekah enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, and running.
